Taste of London, ‘The World’s Greatest Restaurant Festival’ taking place this month between 15th-19th June.
Taste of London is a festival designed for food lovers across the UK. Whether you’re a well-dined gourmand, a new-found lover of food or simply looking for a fun day out with friends, this event is set to please all with lessons on the tricks of the trade from world-class chefs, plus a delicious sampling of gourmet food and drink suppliers.
Located in Regent’s Park, London, the foodie wonderland displays an array of eating, drinking and entertainment to supply five days of summer fun!
Learn how to cook the latest refined dishes with a mind-blowing choice of over 60 outstanding world-renowned chefs who will be cooking up a storm for all festival attendees. Some of the chefs included are Nathen Outlaw, Vivek Singh and Masterchef judge Monica Galetti, plus many more top chefs who will be in action in the AEG Taste Theatre.
Are you a food enthusiast? If so, you will be spoilt for choice with over 40 of London’s latest, greatest and most exciting restaurants appearing at the much anticipated food festival, some of which have been awarded Michelin stars. Other restaurants included are Duck & Waffle, Club Gascon, Roka and The Cinnamon Club. You can also enjoy the chance to try ingredients you haven’t before, with the 200 taster sized signature dishes menu on offer throughout the event.
Equally you can get back to basics and learn about smoking, grilling or even growing your own vegetables at The Wild Kitchen.

Craft beer has made a huge come back in recent years, with sales rocketing in not only bars, pubs and restaurants, but in large supermarket retailers too. However, if you haven’t had the chance to try them all (almost impossible), you can head over to The House of Hops to try beverages from some of the finest brewers such as Moncada Brewery, Tin Monkey and Harvestioun Brewery.
A brand new and exclusive experience from the official champagne at Taste of London: The Entertaining at Home Masterclass with Champagne Laurent-Perrier and The Grill at The Dorchester.
Hosted by The Grill at The Dorchester’s head chef Christophe Marleix and Daniel Brennan of Champagne Laurent-Perrier, guests will enjoy an interactive champagne experience, learning how to choose the perfect champagne to accompany an array of dishes for entertaining at home. On arrival you will be served a glass of Laurent-Perrier Brut Non-Vintage from a jeroboam and then be guided through the key characteristics of four Laurent-Perrier champagnes, each with unique style and pairing quality to accompany three tasting dishes prepared by the iconic Mayfair restaurant.

Shopping at Taste of London
After enjoying a masterclass, you can take a stroll around the many boutique food markets where a mouth-watering array of more than 200 food and drink suppliers, artisan producers and manufacturers will be offing exclusive and highly unique products… you are sure to find a special treat!
Saunter through the small producers’ market and sample produce from the likes of Joe and Steph’s Gourmet Popcorn, Somerset Charcuterie’s scrumptious cheese, Digby Fine English Wine and much more.
Perhaps gourmet food is more up your street, if so, try out Belazu’s oil and vinegars, which is produced from a combination of the best Mediterranean ingredients that have been tried and tested over their 25-years in the business.
Sweet tooth? There will be a selection of delightful confectionery stalls where you can sample bespoke cupcakes!
Evening Standard London Restaurant Awards in association with Taste of London
The Evening Standard London Restaurant Awards are back for their second year, bigger and better with six awards that shine a spotlight on London’s restaurant scene: ‘Best Breakfast’, ‘Worth the Queue’, ‘Good Drinking’, ‘Restaurateur of the Year’, ‘Best New London Restaurant’ and ‘Champagne Laurent-Perrier London Restaurant of the Year.’
Winners will be announced on the opening night of Taste of London (15 June) in the VIP Lounge in front of an audience of London’s brightest restaurant talent.
The judging panel comprises Awards Director and restaurant writer Joe Warwick, Evening Standard restaurant critics Fay Maschler and Grace Dent, respected London chef Rowley Leigh and Instagram star Clerkenwell Boy.
